Affirming and compassionate therapy for individuals seeking healing and happiness
I'm glad you're here.
We were all children once, and I believe the experiences of our childhoods have a lasting impact on the adults we become. Maybe you are the child of a parent who tried their best but did not have the resources to help you cope with challenging emotions. Maybe you are a parent trying to do things differently from your own upbringing. Maybe you are a part of a larger cycle of intergenerational or systemic trauma and are feeling the lasting impact of that pain.
I am passionate about supporting my clients in recognizing unhelpful cycles to navigate new paths toward a healthier, happier life through exploration and healing.

My Approach
Mindful Self-Compassion
One of the main cornerstones of my approach is the practice of self-compassion through mindfulness. If the voice of your inner critic becomes too loud, mindful self-compassion helps you pause, acknowledge your struggles, and offer yourself the comfort and understanding you deserve. It's a gentle way to build emotional strength and take care of your mental well-being.
Trauma-Informed
Difficult or overwhelming events of the past that can create a lasting impact in the present. Trauma-informed therapy is all about creating a safe, supportive environment where those experiences are recognized and respected, without judgment. By focusing on empathy, safety, and empowerment, you can feel in control of your own healing.
Cultural Sensitivity
As a second generation Asian-American, I understand the importance of honoring an individual’s background, traditions, and cultural values. Specializing in areas of generational trauma and family dynamics, I am passionate about supporting my clients find the balance between cultural/familial expectations and individual needs in order to promote inner peace.
Evidence-Based Treatment
In my practice, I incorporate ACT, CBT, DBT, and EMDR strategies, therapeutic approaches that are backed by research and scientific evidence. These methods have been carefully studied to ensure they work for specific issues like anxiety, depression, trauma, and more.
